Furano, Hokkaido, Japan
For something a little different, there’s the Furano mountain resort on the beautiful island of Hokkaido, Japan. Just a short flight and train journey from Tokyo, Furano has a range of winter activities for all ability levels, as well as fun events such as dog sledding. You can enjoy a traditional Japanese onsen (a hot natural spring) and tuck into as much sushi as you want, as Hokkaido is renowned for its fresh seafood.
